Job Summary:

As a Patient Service Representative at Intermountain Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the point of contact for patients entering our facilities, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients, verifying their information and ensuring their needs are met.
- Identify and resolve patient needs related to patient intake and care, including updating demographics, insurance, and contact information.
- Assist patients in completing necessary forms and educating them on financial assistance and next steps.
- Promptly schedule appointments and receive and process payments following appropriate procedures.

Requirements:

- Six months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
- Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
- Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- One year of customer service experience, especially in a Hospital or Medical Office.
- Problem solving ability, analytical skills, self-motivated, and able to work well in a clinic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Physical Requirements:

- Interact with others requiring the ability to communicate information.
- Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

Work Environment:

This position is located at the Park City Specialty Clinic in Park City, Utah. The scheduled weekly hours are 40, and the hourly range for this position is $22.54. Intermountain Healthcare offers a comprehensive benefits package and is an equal opportunity employer.
