OU Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to provide comprehensive care to patients in a dual role of outpatient and/or inpatient setting. As an APN, you will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion, and care coordination for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough history and physical assessments of patients, order diagnostic studies, and interpret results effectively.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient-centered care, facilitate consistent and coordinated care, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in research opportunities, educate students and other healthcare professionals, and engage in quality initiative and performance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Have 3+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a designated specialty, preferably in pediatric emergency medicine.
  • Possess prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire.
  • Maintain active RN and APNP licensure in Oklahoma and certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or PA license in Oklahoma and NCCPA certification.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401(k), medical and dental plans.
