Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to provide direct clinical services in pediatric psychology and behavioral sleep medicine at OU Health. The ideal candidate will join a thriving multidisciplinary team and collaborate with physicians and other disciplines.

The successful candidate may participate in various academic opportunities, including involvement in clinical research and training of psychology trainees and residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pediatric psychology and behavioral health services focusing on behavioral sleep medicine and various health conditions.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and collaborate in the development of medical treatment plans.
  • Offer brief interventions as part of medical treatment plans, including CBT-I, CPAP desensitization, and sleep study preparation.
  • Attend and collaborate with professionals in team rounds, didactics, and meetings.
  • Supervise psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral residents.

Qualifications:

  • A doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
  • Licensed as a psychologist or license eligible in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Specialized training, including certification, in behavioral sleep medicine is desirable.
  • Specialized training, including fellowship in pediatric psychology is desirable.
  • Experience working in an integrated pediatric healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Experience in research, research training, or program development is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience.
