Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Early Childhood Education program at The Goddard School of Concord (Coddle Creek Market), NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing innovative curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Administration
    • Oversee daily operations of the school, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors.
    • Maintain regulatory and brand standards, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
    • Develop and implement school policies and procedures, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality education.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
    • Manage and ensure the proper training of all staff members, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of all children.
  • Curriculum and Program Development
    • Implement a high-quality educational program, ensuring it meets the needs of all children.
    • Support teachers in creating engaging and effective lesson plans, promoting academic, mental, physical, and social-emotional growth.
  • Family and Community Engagement
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress.
    • Address parent concerns and provide regular communication, promoting a sense of community and partnership.
  • Marketing and Outreach
    • Develop and manage the marketing plan, promoting the school's unique and flexible learning environment.
    • Ensure a positive online presence, highlighting the school's commitment to education and child development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
