About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNA/Patient Care Tech to join our team in the Geropsych Unit on a per diem basis. This is a dynamic opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to provide safe and competent nursing assistant care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete bedside shift reports in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Ensure patients have access to the names and contact numbers of the care team on the communication board.
  • Meet with the supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
  • Involves patients and families in care, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
  • Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety.
  • Adheres to fall precautions by performing or assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone.
