About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic CNA/Patient Care Tech to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients and provide professional support to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Complete bedside shift reports in the room at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.
  • Meet with the supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks and ensure clear communication.
  • Involve patients and families in care planning, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety, including safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, and fire prevention.
  • Adhere to fall precautions by assisting patients with toileting and ADL care, never leaving them alone.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program
  • Current Nevada C.N.A. license
  • Current BLS certificate
