As a Medical Imaging Specialist (Radiologic Technologist), you will play a vital role in delivering radiology services while also performing essential nursing tasks as required. Your focus will be on ensuring patient comfort and safety, fostering a supportive atmosphere, and collaborating effectively with healthcare providers and staff.

Position Overview:
Location: Various locations
Status: Part-time
Schedule: Flexible shifts (8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
Specialty: Urgent Care Services

Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting precise X-ray examinations as directed by healthcare providers while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Preparing and sending images to radiologists for evaluation and communicating results to the healthcare team.
  • Managing and storing radiographic reports in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Performing thorough data collection during patient intake, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Assisting patients with mobility, specimen collection, and preparation for examinations.
  • Completing patient referrals and follow-ups as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current licensure and certification by ARRT and state regulations, as applicable.
  • Ongoing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as required for licensure.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in urgent care settings.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric care.
  • Proficiency in performing venipuncture and lab specimen collection.
