Your role is vital to our mission. As a PET-CT Imaging Specialist, you will have the opportunity to impact patient care positively.
Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a dedicated professional to perform PET/CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and care. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting PET CT imaging in accordance with established protocols, assessing image quality, and ensuring all procedural requirements are met.
- Providing training and information to fellow technologists regarding radiation safety and protection.
- Keeping management updated on any changes to the radiation protection protocols.
- Acting as a primary contact for inquiries related to radiation exposure and safety in the absence of the Radiation Safety Officer.
- Coordinating coverage for the imaging department as necessary.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
- Registration as a Computerized Tomography Technician.
- ARRT registration as a Radiographer.
- State registration as a Radiologic Technician or a State License in Nuclear Medicine.
