The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Over 6 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in ground-up construction, including tilt-up, pre-engineered metal buildings, or precast structures
    • Experience with large-scale projects such as retail, self-storage, light industrial, distribution centers, mixed-use developments, data centers, life sciences, or multifamily housing.
  • A proven track record of stability in employment history.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally or throughout the United States based on project needs.
  • Current employment with a medium to large general contracting firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in post-award meetings to gather project details and prepare for pre-construction planning.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop a construction schedule, organizational structure, staff selection, and resource requirements.
  • Oversee the entire construction process to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines while maximizing profitability.
  • Work cooperatively with architects and owner representatives, prioritizing the long-term interests of the company.
  • Conduct job site meetings with the project manager and regional manager.
  • Provide regular updates to the project manager regarding job progress, plans, and potential issues affecting costs or schedules.
  • Maintain a daily log to document significant project events, conditions, and communications.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the company's safety protocols throughout all project phases.
