Job Summary

CAMPBELL INDUSTRIAL CONTRACTORS INC is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes that carry liquids or gases in various industrial, commercial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of pipes.
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.
  • Install and connect pipes, fittings, valves, and other components according to specifications.
  • Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, or other methods.
  • Repair or replace damaged pipes, fittings, or valves.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functioning of the piping system.
  • Follow safety regulations and use personal protective equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements

To be successful as a Pipe Fitter, you will need:

  • Good manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
