POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to advance in fields such as fabrication, welding, machining, plumbing, or electrical work. Initial responsibilities will include tasks such as cutting and assembling metal materials, preparing surfaces for painting, handling materials, and assisting with electrical wiring. As you gain experience, you will receive training and mentorship from skilled personnel in your area of interest.
  • Performing saw operations to cut steel tubes, angles, channels, and flat bars according to specified blueprints.
  • Engaging in drilling, milling, tapping, and mechanical assembly of various components.
  • Assisting in the disassembly of machinery parts.
  • Preparing machine components for painting.
  • Supporting welders in various fabrication tasks.
  • Helping with the wiring of ovens, fans, and related electrical systems.
  • Conducting material handling and general housekeeping duties.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32".
  • Experience operating Band Saws is essential.
  • Familiarity with sit-down Forklifts and overhead Cranes.
  • Knowledge of Welders, Shears, Drill Presses, and Grinders is advantageous.
  • Experience in assembly and wiring of components.
