Roll Clamp Driver

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a skilled Roll Clamp Driver to join our team. As a Roll Clamp Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing equipment.

• Unload the baling machine and band waste loads
• Offload sheeted loads into press WIP manufacturing area
• Responsible for production of banding scrap loads with metal strapping
• Weighing bales of scrap and filling out manufacturing inventory tags
• Stacking production bales according to grade
• Loading bales and scrap pallets into semi-trucks
• Performing required manufacturing safety checks of forklift
• Unloading sheeted loads from sheeters to printed WIP production areas
• Removing and strapping waste loads from delivery end of printing presses
• Exchanging production coating totes
• Manufacturing banding metal printing plates and placing them in proper storage locations

• Physical and visual activities commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job: standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, bending, reaching, handling, visual acuity
• Physical demands commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job: operating a forklift, getting on and off the lift throughout the working shift
• Use of Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software: forklift, bailing machine, hand truck
• Experience operating a forklift preferred, but not required
