About the Role

The State of Indiana is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Clerk of Courts to join our team. As a key member of our Administrative Law Proceedings (OALP) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our case management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to case management systems
  • Communicate OALP processes to the public and train staff on case management policies and procedures
  • Assist the Clerk of Courts with oversight of legal assistants and paralegals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree with 1+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate's Degree with 5+ years of experience, or at least 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Specialized knowledge in program subject matter obtained through experience and/or education
  • Ability to develop and implement new principles and policies and discern any far-reaching implications
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
