Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a File Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately;
  • Answering phones and directing callers and answering inquiries in person;
  • Proofreading, reviewing, and editing documents for proper use of grammar and content;
  • Searching/retrieving records upon request and forwarding to relevant parties;
  • Indexing, coding and cross-referencing records or files.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
