As a Safe and Secure Ambassador, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard individuals, our brand, and property within the store environment.

The role focuses on assisting the store team in mitigating risks related to safety and preventing theft and fraud through effective communication, collaboration, and education.


Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance customer engagement by maintaining a strong presence at the store entrance.
  • Welcome customers warmly with a friendly demeanor.
  • Provide support during safety incidents and emergency situations.
  • Assist store leadership in promoting a robust security culture by educating staff on policies and procedures.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to address critical store events.
  • Gather, document, and share insights on asset protection trends.
  • Support the recovery of merchandise and document incidents using company protocols.
  • Follow up on action plans from the Shrink Protection Program assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPM) on safety and security matters.
  • Communicate intelligence regarding theft and fraud to the RAPM and store leadership.
  • Document all Organized Retail Crime (ORC) incidents in accordance with company policies.
  • Work alongside law enforcement and the RAPM to resolve ongoing cases.
  • Model safe working practices while ensuring a clean environment for customers and associates.
  • Promote a culture of ethical behavior, safety, and compliance.
  • Educate and empower the team on loss prevention and safety practices.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Meet any local or state certification and legal requirements for the position.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in adapting to evolving technology needs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
