Pediatrician - Child Abuse Specialist

We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pediatrician with a specialization in child abuse to join our team at a large southeast Georgia medical center. This is a unique opportunity to work in a comprehensive children's healthcare system with a dedicated pediatric sedation, child life, rehabilitation, and many other services.
Responsibilities- Provide medical care to children with suspected or confirmed child abuse
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in educational programs to train residents and fellows in child abuse diagnosis and treatment
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Board certification or board eligibility in pediatrics
- Active Georgia state license or ability to obtain one
- No call requirement
Our medical center is a 622-bed, regional referral center with a Level I trauma center, Level III NICU, and a dedicated pediatric hospital. We serve 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina and offer a comprehensive, flexible health and benefits package, including 401k, PTO, and CME time/allowance.
About the Children's HospitalOur children's hospital is a comprehensive children's healthcare system with 4 pediatric ORs, 18-bed Emergency Department, 50 inpatient pediatric beds, including PICU, and dedicated pediatric sedation, child life, rehabilitation, and many other services.
