Mission:

The primary objective of the Bilingual Educational Diagnostician at Beta Academy is to expertly oversee the identification process for students who may benefit from Special Education services, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring that all students receive the necessary support.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Select and apply various assessment tools for student evaluations.
  • Interpret evaluation results to guide educational placements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee.
  • Consult with educators and parents regarding instructional strategies and IEP development.
  • Conduct classroom observations to gather relevant data.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations during ARD meetings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of evaluations and meetings.

Demonstrate professionalism through consistent attendance, timely communication, and adherence to school policies. Engage constructively with colleagues and families, maintaining a respectful and supportive environment.


Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • SBEC certification for educational diagnosticians.
  • Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
