Overview: Soliant is in search of a committed and skilled Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our dedicated team. This role involves delivering essential speech and language services to students who are proficient in both Spanish and English. Your expertise will be vital in assessing and addressing communication challenges, working collaboratively with educators and families, and fostering language growth among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Create tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving students' speech and language objectives.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both in individual and group formats.
- Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other professionals to meet students' speech and language requirements within the educational setting.
- Conduct evaluations and provide therapy in both English and Spanish as necessary.
- Suggest and implement suitable accommodations and modifications to enhance students' engagement and success in the classroom.
- Track students' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain precise and current documentation and reports.
- Engage in IEP meetings and assist in the formulation of students' Individualized Education Programs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Preferred experience working with bilingual students.
- Familiarity with bilingual assessment and therapy methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
