Position Title: Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Overview: Soliant is in search of a skilled and passionate Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become part of our dedicated team. This role focuses on delivering essential speech and language services to students who communicate in both Spanish and English. Your expertise will be vital in assessing and addressing communication challenges, collaborating with educational staff and families, and fostering language growth among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Create tailored treatment plans to meet the individual speech and language objectives of students.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both in one-on-one and group settings.
- Work in partnership with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' speech and language requirements within the educational framework.
- Administer assessments and provide therapy in both English and Spanish as necessary.
- Suggest and implement suitable accommodations and modifications to enhance students' engagement and success in the classroom.
- Track students' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain precise and current documentation and reports.
- Engage in IEP meetings and assist in the formulation of students' Individualized Education Programs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Possession of valid state licensure or eligibility to secure licensure.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience with bilingual students is preferred.
- Familiarity with bilingual assessment and therapy methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to supporting children in reaching their maximum potential.
