Position Summary:

We are in search of dedicated and proficient Registered Nurses to become integral members of our client's esteemed healthcare team. In the role of an OB/GYN Registered Nurse, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care and enhancing health outcomes.   • This is a permanent, salaried position that includes a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Compensation is determined by the client's discretion based on your qualifications, with a salary range of $105,000.00 to $120,000.00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Outpatient Operations and Practice Operations Manager to oversee the clinical performance of Medical Assistants, ensuring all clinical tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor, document, and report on patient conditions, responses to treatments, and maintain comprehensive patient laboratory records.
  • Assist physicians during clinical procedures, including recording patient histories, vital signs, and performing venipuncture and injections.
  • Manage the inventory and ordering of medical supplies and surgical instruments.
  • Evaluate incoming calls and provide guidance to the appropriate medical personnel as needed.
  • Support the enhancement and maintenance of the laboratory and pathology tracking systems.
  • Keep detailed records of all specimens collected and dispatched for testing.
  • Oversee weekly schedules and coverage for Medical Assistants.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of medical equipment and emergency supplies.
  • Ensure accurate logging of all medications and injections administered.
  • Prepare and dispense prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols.
  • Track and address risk management incidents, medication errors, and other patient safety concerns.
  • Assist physicians with patient treatments and specific departmental therapies.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives and staff training.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, along with four years of relevant experience.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in New York State.
  • BCLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of outpatient OB/GYN clinical experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • ACLS certification.
