Job Title: Vice President Supply Chain

At ZRG Embedded Recruiting/RPO, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with our company's overall goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement supply chain initiatives that drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
  • Establish annual goals and objectives, manage performance, and ensure attainment.
  • Develop KPIs to improve service in predictability, profitability, and promptness of delivery.
  • Plan and execute strategic relationships with key suppliers to manage major purchasing contracts and long-term agreements.
  • Support new strategic initiatives by developing business and implementation plans and providing supporting analysis.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Develop inventory strategies that balance product availability with cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
  • Develop the supply chain budget, monitor expenditures, and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to evaluate and implement advanced supply chain technologies, systems, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Support organizational Lean improvement efforts by creating a work environment that strives to eliminate waste, improving customer satisfaction.
  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Promote and lead succession planning efforts by providing developmental opportunities that will support the organization's future growth plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in supply chain or operations management.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior leadership role, including P&L responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and business processes.
  • Minimum 7 years project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Six Sigma certification.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (20-30%).
  • Ability to sit and work efficiently at video display terminals for extended periods.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision required.
  • Normal duties involve filing and typical office duties that involve stretching, reaching, and stooping with lifting typically limited to 10-20 lbs. maximum.
