Job Title: Vice President Supply Chain

At ZRG Embedded Recruiting/RPO, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations. This is a confidential search, and we are looking for a seasoned professional who can drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with our company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement supply chain initiatives that drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
  • Establish annual goals and objectives, in coordination with corporate objectives, and manage performance to ensure attainment.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve service in the areas of predictability, profitability, and promptness of delivery.
  • Plan and execute strategic relationships with key suppliers to manage major purchasing contracts and long-term agreements.
  • Support new strategic initiatives by developing both business and implementation plans and providing supporting analysis.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Develop inventory strategies that balance product availability with cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
  • Develop the supply chain budget. Monitor expenditures and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to evaluate and implement advanced supply chain technologies, systems, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Supports organizational Lean improvement efforts by creating a work environment that strives to eliminate waste, improving customer satisfaction.
  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members. Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Promotes and leads succession planning efforts by providing developmental opportunities that will support our organization's future growth plan.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in Supply Chain or Operations Management.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a Sr Leadership role to include P&L responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems in general and the business processes behind them.
  • Minimum 7 years project management experience.

We are looking for a self-starter, highly motivated, capable of operating effectively with a minimum of direction, and able to work effectively under pressure with significant interaction within all levels in the organization. Must have working knowledge of FAA certifications & regulations. Must have excellent professional, communication, negotiation, teamwork, organization, project management, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in supply chain management or related field and Six Sigma certification.

This role requires frequent travel (20-30%) and the ability to sit and work efficiently at video display terminals for extended periods. Normal duties involve filing as well as typical office duties that involve stretching, reaching, and stooping with lifting typically limited to 10-20 lbs. maximum. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Normal or corrected hearing and vision required.
