Job Title: Vice President Supply Chain

Job Summary:

ZRG Embedded Recruiting/RPO is seeking a highly experienced Vice President Supply Chain to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, managing supply chain functions, and ensuring that the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the supply chain strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement supply chain initiatives that drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
  • Establish annual goals and objectives, in coordination with corporate objectives, and manage performance to ensure attainment.
  • Develop KPIs to improve service in the areas of predictability, profitability, and promptness of delivery.
  • Plan and execute strategic relationships with key suppliers to manage major purchasing contracts and long-term agreements.
  • Support new strategic initiatives by developing both business and implementation plans and providing supporting analysis.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Develop inventory strategies that balance product availability with cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
  • Develop the supply chain budget. Monitor expenditures and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to evaluate and implement advanced supply chain technologies, systems, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Supports organizational Lean improvement efforts by creating a work environment that strives to eliminate waste, improving customer satisfaction.
  • Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members. Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Promotes and leads succession planning efforts by providing developmental opportunities that will support the organization's future growth plan.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in Supply Chain or Operations Management.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a Sr Leadership role to include P&L responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems in general and the business processes behind them.
  • Minimum 7 years project management experience.
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, capable of operating effectively with a minimum of direction, and be able to work effectively under pressure with significant interaction within all levels in the organization.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in supply chain management or related field.
  • Six Sigma certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally (20-30%).
  • Must be able to sit and work efficiently at video display terminals for extended periods of time.
  • Must and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision required.
  • Normal duties involve filing as well as typical office duties that involve stretching, reaching, and stooping with lifting typically limited to 10-20 lbs. maximum.
