Child Developmental Therapist Job Description

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Child Developmental Therapist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.

Job Summary:

We are committed to enriching the lives of children on the autism spectrum. As a Child Developmental Therapist, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission-driven care model. You will deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles
  • Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification
  • Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
