Job Summary: We are seeking an Optical Component Specialist to work closely with our optical design engineers and vendors to develop specifications for optical components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optics and physics, with experience in designing and developing optical components for fiber optic devices and modules.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with optical design engineers to develop specifications for optical components
* Run component qualifications and develop inspection processes
* Work with vendors to source high-quality components
* Develop and maintain technical documentation
* Provide technical support and training to colleagues

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in optics, physics, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in optical component design and development
* Strong knowledge of optics and physics
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
