Electrical Engineer - Reality Labs

At Meta, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with augmented and virtual reality. As an Electrical Engineer on our Reality Labs team, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the electrical systems that bring our vision to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex electrical systems for our AR/VR products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with mechanical, optical, and software components
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and designs
  • Work with vendors to source and integrate components
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and features

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent
  • Experience with high-speed digital test equipment and signal processing
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with high-speed signaling and digital signal processing
  • Experience with consumer electronics and mass production environments
  • Programming skills in languages like Python or C/C++
