Position Overview:
The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our guests during their arrival, stay, and departure. This position is essential in maximizing room revenue and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous responses to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies to ensure secure transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of current rates, packages, and promotional offers.
- Familiarize yourself with in-house groups and special events.
- Process check-ins and checkouts efficiently and with a friendly demeanor.
- Utilize effective communication skills when interacting with guests and team members.
- Operate the Front Desk computer system proficiently to manage reservations and guest information.
- Complete daily shift tasks and ensure a clean and organized work area.
- Assist guests with safe deposit box access and other requests.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with guests and colleagues.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation:
$23.00/hr.
