Job Summary

The Sales Executive position at Buckman is a critical role focused on growing sales and maintaining current applications at our Lewiston, ID location. This position is essential to supporting the customer base of the assigned region or strategic business unit while actively providing value to the customer and increasing profits in the territory.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Provide subject matter expertise to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Establish relationships at all levels based on faith and trust
  • Results-driven decision making while maintaining Buckman values
  • Use sales tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date account information
  • Submit required reports in a timely manner
  • Continuing education and self-training by taking advantage of training opportunities
  • Maintain consignment inventory and manage Buckman assets
  • Effective planning and preparation
  • Obtain and use knowledge of customers' systems
  • Support team initiatives and support team members' needs
  • Ensure activity (service) reports are distributed regularly

Key Performance Indicators

  • MPC generation at customer account
  • MPC metrics in KPM tracked quarterly
  • Successful trial/business conversions
  • Highly involved with sales funnel planning and tracking with Account Manager

Minimum Requirements to Apply

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology degree preferred
  • 5 years experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific training in pulp and paper science desired
  • Knowledge in water treatment application is an asset
  • Demonstrated understanding of business/finance and terminology desirable
