Configuration Management Administrator

At Spark Talent Acquisition, we're seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Configuration Management/Design Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the design of military vehicles and their systems, ensuring the delivery of Configuration Management contractual obligations, and facilitating CM-related meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare comprehensive reports, metrics, and presentations that support Configuration Management efforts.
  • Effective Communication: Develop strong relationships with various stakeholders through effective communication in a team environment.
  • Deliverable Coordination: Coordinate timing plans to meet departmental contractual deliverables and align with the integrated master schedule (IMS).
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress of deliverables to ensure timely submission and meet expectations.
  • Meeting Support: Capture weekly Change Control Board (CCB) CM Working Group and other departmental meeting minutes, per contractual requirements.
  • Deliverable Preparation: Prepare deliverables that support the Configuration Management Plan.
  • Meeting Organization: Track and record meeting attendees, communicate with meeting attendees of out-briefs and minutes, and schedule and organize meetings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP).
  • Communication Skills: Strong skillset to capture and record meeting minutes for Configuration Management and other meetings.
  • Progress Tracking: Ability to track and report progress of Configuration Management deliverables.
  • Template Development: Ability to formulate templates for tracking and measurement based on extrapolated data results using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Strong skillset with the use of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Typing Skills: Strong typing skillset required.
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate both orally and written.
  • Automotive Background: Automotive background with prior experience regularly capturing and recording meeting minutes, action items, and attendee lists.
  • SAE_EIA-649-1 Experience: Experience with SAE_EIA-649-1 to support the deliverables for Configuration Management is desirable.
  • Security Clearance: Prior Security Clearance is preferred.
