Job Description
Sales Supervisor (P/T)
The Sales Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the management team and performing various functional tasks as assigned. When the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager are absent, the Sales Supervisor assumes leadership and managerial responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in training and developing a successful sales team, focusing on excellent customer service and sales techniques.
- Ensure that all customer service initiatives are in place to address issues quickly and courteously, maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, the Assistant Store Manager, and the Store Manager, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, management, and corporate stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
- Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside of your specific role, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to support the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, with a strong understanding of sales principles and customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with a focus on excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs, ensuring efficient store operations.
- Excellent team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, management, and corporate stakeholders.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team.

The pay range for this position is $16-$20/hr plus commission, with the actual rate determined based on the candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors. This range does not include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and 401K, if applicable.
