About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Cranbury, NJ Central Distribution Center. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and conveyor systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including conveyor systems, mechanical and electrical components.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control circuits, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, switches, sensors, and timers.
  • Ensure clear and constant communication regarding potential system issues, proposed fixes, and estimated resolution timelines.
  • Track and perform routine maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
  • Request and confirm that replacement parts are ordered and available when necessary.
Requirements
  • Electrical/electronic background and 3-5 years of related experience.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, however, a combination of experience and related trade school or an associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechanical technician programs will be considered.
  • The ability to obtain certification in maintaining Dematic systems will be required. Training will be provided.
  • The ability to read and interpret operating, maintenance, and safety documents.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as strong planning and organizational skills are required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Required to stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout the entire shift.
  • Require to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
  • Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to visually inspect machines and hear for odd and/or inconsistent sounds.
  • Typical warehouse environment.
