Job Title: Surgical Technologist First Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist First Assistant to join our team at Northern Light Inland Hospital. As a key member of our Operating Room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in data collection and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved program in Surgical Assisting.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience as a Surgical Technologist or First Assistant.
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
