Developmental Disabilities Nurse

Job Title: Developmental Disabilities Nurse
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities in our Community Support Services Program.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to multiple site locations and day programs.
- Perform nursing assessments as needed and monitor patients' overall health during home visits.
- Update current Medication Administration Records (MARs) with physician orders and review MARs for unsigned medications each month.
- Schedule appointments and prepare specialty clinic consults as recommended by the Medical Director.
- Provide nursing coverage for the day program as needed and attend Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Diploma/certificate from a two-year college or technical school in Nursing.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
