Position Overview:

Our organization is in search of a proactive and skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves overseeing a diverse array of construction initiatives, including commercial projects, residential developments, renovations, and tenant improvements.

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be tasked with the overall management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and successful completion of designated projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and commitments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and supervise the successful completion of construction projects while maintaining quality and value.
  • Create detailed project plans to be shared with clients and team members.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Evaluate project performance using relevant tools and methodologies.
  • Manage alterations to project scope, timelines, and budgets using appropriate verification methods.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Conduct risk management to mitigate project risks.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Develop and maintain thorough project documentation.
  • Review project timelines with senior management and relevant staff, adjusting schedules as needed.

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination within the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, encompassing all facets of process development and execution.
  • Strong familiarity with construction management software tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in construction.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on client interaction.
  • Strong organizational abilities, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is advantageous.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
