Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and improvements focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost for a leading supplier in the rail, construction, and heavy truck industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document process, tooling, and new product development for thermoformed products.
  • Optimize productivity, reduce cycle time, improve quality, reduce scrap, and reduce operating costs through continual process improvement.
  • Initiate and assist with capital improvement projects aimed at improving plant capabilities through new equipment purchase and/or facility modification.
  • Develop and monitor training plans to ensure personnel are versed in new process requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5 years direct manufacturing experience.
  • Solidworks and AutoCad experience a plus.
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other Lean tools.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • General knowledge or experience with the following processes: Thermoforming.

This is a full-time permanent position located in Hanover, PA.
