Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions. As a Critical Care RN, you will provide exceptional patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and be responsible for assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including obtaining patient history, assessing patient conditions, and developing and implementing care plans.
- Assess patient responses to medications and therapies, and document patient data in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, including Charge Nurses and Physicians, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, and possess knowledge of emergency drugs and their locations.
- Participate in discharge planning, and ensure patient/family knowledge level and understanding of prescribed medications/therapies.
- Operate defibrillators, EKG machines, and cardiac monitors, and other emergency technical equipment.
- Maintain a neat personal appearance and professional decorum, and consistently apply VA's customer service standards.
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Health Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Three (3) years of recent Critical Care RN work experience.
