KurzSolutions is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Responsibilities- Collect blood samples via venipuncture, central lines, and swan Ganz catheters
- Draw arterial blood from existing lines
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring
- Remove peripheral intravenous lines, central venous catheters, and percutaneous arterial lines under physician direction
- Perform 12-lead EKGs in response to chest pain or cardiac abnormalities
- Setup and monitor intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices for high-risk PCI procedures
- Provide coverage to the dialysis center
- Work with COVID-19 positive patients and patients under investigation for COVID-19
- Completion of an accredited course in Intensive Care/Cat Lab Nursing
- Certification in Moderate Sedation or equivalent
- Minimum of three years' direct patient care experience
- Preferred: CCRN certification through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Certification Corporation
