Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Donation Processor and Receiver to join our team at Hearts Foundation. As a key member of our retail operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing and receiving of donations, which will ultimately support our mission to serve the chronic homeless and other underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and receive donations from donors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Sort and price donated items, utilizing your knowledge of quality merchandise and pricing guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, volunteers, and retail staff, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Accurately report production metrics and communicate any barriers to completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception, presort, and processing areas, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
  • Sales experience and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes and bags of donated items up to 35 pounds.
