**Job Summary**

Cascade Drilling, LP is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of drilling rigs and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs, trucks, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to prioritize repair requests and develop effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of drilling projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
  • CDL A license a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds throughout the day
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, welding, and fabrication
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus
  • Ability to work overtime and varied shifts
  • Knowledge of power/hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Read and understand manufacture repair manuals
  • Computer competency
