Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy.
  • Lead audit engagements and manage competing priorities to ensure timely completion.
  • Review, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
  • Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff during engagements.
  • Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
  • 7+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience.
  • CPA.
  • Experience with governmental clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
