Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Public Area Attendant to join our team at Lahn Hospitality and Amusement Group. As a key member of our hotel staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain drink and vending machines, as well as surrounding areas
  • Empty trash receptacles and ashtrays in corridors and public areas
  • Clean outside area walkways, sweep stairways and landings, and clean railings and wash exit doors
  • Clean public restrooms, wash windows, and clean elevators, tracks, chrome, and stainless steel
  • Spot-clean walls and doors, remove cobwebs, and clean fire extinguishers
  • Wipe baseboards, railings, phones, walls, and vending areas
  • Collect soiled linen from room attendant carts and deliver to assigned area
  • Vacuum inside corridors and shampoo carpets
  • Assist in keeping storage areas and linen rooms clean
  • Assist housekeeper in checking supplies, opening cartons, and placing supplies neatly on shelves
  • Assist in making beds and cleaning rooms as instructed by Executive Housekeeper
  • Deliver cribs and rollaways to guestrooms
  • Patrool pool area, clean tables, empty garbage, and clean workout facilities
  • Wear protective equipment provided by property
  • Fill out maintenance work order forms to notify maintenance and housekeeping of any maintenance problems
  • Report any security or safety issues
  • Assist Front Desk as needed
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Reading and communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays required
