Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, professional competence, and a proven track record of success in tax management. This role offers growth potential to partner for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Tax Projects: Coordinate staffing and workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects.
  • Prepare and Review Tax Returns: Prepare and review high-level tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage Tax Compliance and Planning: Oversee tax compliance and tax planning processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax-related tasks.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating knowledge of their business and providing exceptional service.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement best practices to improve tax processes and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Create and provide training on tax programs and projects for new hires, and mentor staff to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of CPA firm experience, focusing on tax preparation.
  • Education: A./B.S. degree in Accounting, MBA/Masters in Tax/Accounting a plus.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Active CPA License.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ProSystem fx Tax, QuickBooks, Sage, CCH Engagement a plus.
