Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled soccer coach to oversee our seasonal camps and clinics in the Atlanta region. The individual selected for this role will be tasked with executing diverse training programs tailored to the specific needs of participants. Additionally, the coach will be instrumental in identifying and recommending promising players for our Regional Development School.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field coaching sessions and manage associated administrative duties
  • Participate in a paid orientation session prior to the season
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection process for RDS team tryouts
  • Scout and suggest potential candidates for the RDS program
  • Help organize and facilitate various camps, clinics, and tryouts throughout the year
  • Support community engagement initiatives as needed
  • Provide training assistance for affiliated programs when required

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid USSF 'D' coaching license or United Soccer Coaches 'National Diploma' at a minimum
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to youth development and teamwork
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Show strong organizational and time management skills
  • Have basic proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote
  • Ability to design, implement, and document effective training sessions and programs

Essential Skills

  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
  • A clean criminal background is essential
  • At least three years of coaching experience is required
  • Possession of a recognized coaching qualification is necessary
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • A background in collegiate or professional soccer is preferred
  • Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
