Woodcraft Rangers provides:
- Comprehensive afterschool enrichment programs focused on fostering a supportive atmosphere.
- Summer educational and outdoor initiatives serving thousands of youth aged 4 to 18.
- Lifecraft: a program aimed at career and academic advancement for our dedicated staff.
Role Summary:
The Club Supervisor role is an on-site position that includes participation in training sessions at our main office and various program locations.
Compensation: $27.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (varies by location)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute engaging activities for club members.
- Develop program activities aligned with our goals and monthly themes.
- Recruit and maintain participation from the school community (20:1 student to staff ratio).
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Build positive relationships with youth, parents, and school personnel.
- Maintain daily attendance records.
- Submit lesson plans for upcoming sessions.
- Organize end-of-session performances or displays that promote social and emotional growth.
- Engage in staff development training as required, approximately 20 hours per year.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:
We seek an individual who is detail-oriented, enthusiastic, proactive, and positive, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail are essential. Candidates should be comfortable presenting and engaging with peers during training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in expanded learning programs or youth recreational settings.
- High School Diploma or GED required (AA Degree in Child Development or related field preferred); prior experience with K-12 students in educational or recreational environments is advantageous.
- Ability to connect with young children and youth.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer use and eager to learn.
- Valid background checks and certifications as required.
