Responsibilities:

  1. Process various loan types including FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, Home Equity Lines of Credit, and more.
  2. Accurately assess income for diverse borrower profiles.
  3. Communicate effectively with clients, loan agents, and third parties involved in the mortgage process.
  4. Request, review, and verify all necessary loan documentation to ensure accuracy before submission to underwriting.
  5. Obtain necessary verifications such as deposit and employment confirmations.
  6. Prioritize daily workflow to meet company timelines.
  7. Keep clients and loan agents updated on loan status and any changes.
  8. Ensure compliance by accurately documenting any necessary redisclosures.
  9. Coordinate loan closings with clients and title companies.
  10. Work additional hours as required.
  11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Desired Skills:

  1. In-depth knowledge of various loan programs and products.
  2. Familiarity with federal and state regulations, including TRID.
  3. Strong analytical skills for complex tax return evaluations.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education and Experience:

  1. 5-7 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
  2. Current experience with purchase loans is essential.
  3. Proficient in Encompass or similar mortgage loan origination systems.
  4. Understanding of compliance regulations and investor guidelines.
