Job Overview

The Home Loan Specialist plays a vital role in helping our valued clients achieve their financial goals. This position requires a consultative approach, utilizing Fidelity Bank's C.A.R.E. Process to design lending solutions that meet each client's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate first and second mortgage loans, as well as secure mortgage and home equity lines/loan applications for the Bank.
  • Develop and implement a business development program, including realtor relationships and community outreach.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank loan products, services, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Interview applicants, take mortgage applications, and obtain necessary documentation and fees for efficient processing.
  • Communicate with vendors and applicants regarding application status.
  • Represent the Bank at Board of Realtor meetings, participate in mortgage programs and seminars, and perform other functions to enhance the Bank's visibility and image in the real estate community.
  • Collaborate as a backup contact for other Home Loan Specialists when needed.
Requirements

Minimum four years related mortgage lending or origination experience required.

Excellent sales, business development, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to learn and effectively use required technology and applications. Ability to work outside of typical business hours and travel extensively within the Bank's business community.
