United Business Bank is seeking a highly skilled SBA Loan Officer to join our team in Los Angeles or Buena Park Offices.

Job Summary

The SBA Loan Officer will be responsible for processing, documentation, closing, and servicing of SBA loans. This position will also encompass the functions of loan boarding, loan disbursement, payoffs, and maintaining tickler items as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and document SBA loans accurately and efficiently
  • Work closely with the SBA Loan Supervisor to ensure adherence to Bank policy and SBA SOP
  • Perform all duties accurately, timely, and efficiently according to Bank policy, procedures, regulatory guidelines, and SBA SOP
  • Assist the SBA Loan Supervisor as needed and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required or 3+ years of experience in banking
  • Modest to high level of knowledge of loan servicing and documentation preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience in SBA lending preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage workflow and detail-oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and mathematically adept
  • Basic computer skills including the use of Excel, Word processing, email, and spreadsheets
  • Ability to multitask
  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $75,000 to $90,000
