Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-line support, guidance, and expertise to associates.
  • Perform on-site maintenance and deployment of desktop and server systems, as well as network and security equipment.
  • Monitor internal ticketing systems, perform triage, and resolve or re-route incidents to the appropriate support group.
  • Recognize, research, isolate, and resolve complex information systems problems.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft operating systems and productivity suites.
  • Conduct basic wired and wireless network troubleshooting, including cable verification and termination.
  • Provide technical expertise in the planning, evaluation, and implementation of computer and communication technology.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders and third-party support groups to develop logical, impactful solutions to technical hurdles.
  • Maintain and manage detailed asset assignment records to meet IT Director's requirements.
  • Develop and adhere to a routine maintenance schedule for reboots, patch testing, and patch installation.
  • Manage warranty/maintenance contracts for internal systems.
  • Document solutions to recurring information systems issues to improve support response times.
  • May assist with selection of hardware and software vendors and solicit bids from both.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with two to five years of practical experience.
  • Commensurate combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with service desk support.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Android and iOS device support and administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with general hardware support and troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate understanding of other Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, M365, Entra, Teams, Intune, and NPS.
  • Intermediate understanding of core networking concepts and services, like DNS, DHCP, and RADIUS.
  • In current possession of or willingness to apply for a passport and global entry.
Language Skills:

Candidates should be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical literature, financial reports, and legal documents. Fluency with Spanish is desired but not required.

Math Skills:

Candidates should be able to perform basic mathematical calculations as well as compute and interpret statistical data.

Reasoning Ability:

Candidates should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and should also be able to process problems involving several fluid or concrete variables within a standardized framework.
