Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator at Sono Bello plays a vital role in supporting the company's human resources functions. This position is responsible for assisting with various programs, processes, and procedures related to team member actions, including onboarding and offboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Human Resources function in carrying out various programs, processes, and procedures.
  • Support key processes and activities related to team member actions, including hiring, termination, and benefits administration.
  • Provide administrative support to team member onboarding and offboarding process, including processing hiring information, background check submission, collecting signatures, and assisting in other onboarding activities as needed.
  • Monitor the HR Inbox, responding to inquiries that are within the scope of the role and escalating other matters.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Provide information for Verifications of Employment (VOE).
  • Maintain team member files and HR records within our HRIS, utilizing different electronic tools and source documents.
  • Assist or prepare correspondence, reports, and similar documents.
  • Support or conduct various audits.
  • Assist with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of human resources experience required.
  • Prior experience working with an HRIS/HRMS (UltiPro preferred) or the ability to quickly learn software programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resources principles, best practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment that can be demanding at times.
  • Proficient in MS Office and have the ability to learn a variety of computer operating systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of key people processes.
  • Possess solid people interactions skills even in repetitive situations.
  • Strong ability to solve problems independently and with others.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn, grow, and develop in Human Resources.
  • Ability to read and write in the English language.

Work Environment:

Sono Bello has a hybrid workplace, and the HR Coordinator will be expected to be in person at our office at least 3 days a week.

Compensation:

This is a Non-Exempt position with an hourly range of $33.00, depending on experience.
