About the Role

As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients for our freight forwarding services. With a strong understanding of the logistics industry and a proven track record of success, you will be responsible for executing full sales lifecycle processes from pre-work to client onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and establishing relationships with new clients through prospecting and networking efforts
  • Presenting OEC Group's service offerings to potential clients, including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage
  • Maintaining regular communication with internal teams and overseas offices to ensure seamless execution of sales processes
  • Traveling locally to meet with clients and present our services
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience directly selling ocean and/or air services within a freight forwarder
  • Previous experience using ERP systems, such as CargoWise One, is preferred
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a solid understanding of local territory and market opportunities
  • High emotional intelligence, personal integrity, and a hunter mentality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Compensation Package

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 annually, plus uncapped sales commission. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes a monthly car allowance, relocation and travel opportunities for top performers, and a generous PTO policy.
